Pawan to launch hunger strike in Tamil Nadu
Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan is making plans to launch a hunger strike in Tamil Nadu against the Tamil Language Detention Law in order to protect the rights of Telugu speaking people in the Tamil state.
Tamil Nadu government passed a GO where the students in the state are forced to select only Tamil as the language and are not allowed to study in other languages such as Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam or Urdu. Speculation is rife that Pawan will be meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha to discuss the issue.
Telugu Yuvashakthi leader recently met few political leaders in the Telugu states to seek help over the issue. Sources inform that Pawan will protest in Tamil Nadu to be launched by the end of this month end against the GO passed by TN Govt. Even though the venue for the protest is not yet decided, various Telugu associations and Pawan Kalyan fans are organising the protest and have begun arrangements for the strike.
