Item girl Koyna Mitra is angry that she was made to strip down at the Bengaluru airport by the security staff. She went through this horrific humiliation before she boarded her flight back to Mumbai last Sunday.

In a self-confessed revelation, Koyna said she was thoroughly checked by female staff after ordering her to undress. Koyna initially resisted but soon gave in after a senior officer insisted. “They put my T-shirt through the scanner and the women, inserting their hands into my head, asked if my hair was for real.”

The once-popular vamp girl of Bollywood was obviously not recognised but her peculiar looks only made the security staff apprehensive. Koyna actually should rejoice the moment, since it’s been a long while since this dusky girl did the strip-tease on screen. With a stripped-down career that is not likely to look up in the near future, this former girlfriend of actor Aftab Shivadasani, struggles to stay afloat in the media glare. Thankfully, last Sunday’s aberration by the security staff comes like a ‘god-send’ for her.
