Srinivas burnt Vaishnavi’s body?

The body of Vaishnavi, the 10-year-old Vijayawada girl, who was murdered, was burnt in the factory boiler-cum-furnace between 9.30 pm and 1.30 am on Saturday.

Police now believe that Srinivas Rao, one of the murder masterminds and who owns the industrial unit, might have dumped the body in the boiler. Srinivasa Rao and the other killer Venkat Rao had already confessed to the crime. The police are now able to corroborate their information and confessions with the accounts of other key witnesses in the case.

More information came out after the police questioned Jayamma, the wife of the industrial unit’s watchman. She reportedly told the cops that Srinivasa Rao came to unit at around 9.30 pm on Saturday. He himself had heated up the furnace which kept burning till 1.30 am.

But she does not know what for Srinivasa Rao switched on the furnace. She got to know about the gruesome murder only after the police came to the unit on Monday afternoon.

Vaishnavi, daughter of Palagani Prabhakara Rao, fell victim to a conspiracy hatched by her own relatives Venkat Rao and Srinivasa Rao. Prabakara Rao also died of massive heart attack after hearing about the gruesome murder of his daughter
