Just like how Vaishnavi was consumed, hatred and personal rivalry between two elders almost cost yet another 10-year-old’s life. In Vaishnavi’s case, it was her relatives, but today it is a teacher who slit the throat of Udaya Kiran of Hanamkonda with a sharp-edged knife.
Uday Kiran who returned from school was attacked by a beastly Nagaraju, who happens to be a friend of the boy’s father. His mother, resting in the adjacent room, realised the danger and raised an alarm forcing Nagaraju to flee.
But then why would Nagaraju, a respectable teacher in the society, try to kill Udaya Kiran? The reason is simple. He wanted to settle scores with his father over some monetary disputes. And he found the boy more convenient for that, just like how Vaishnavi’s killers did! The boy is not battling for life and doctors consider his condition still very critical.
This is the second incident in a few days when innocent children were forced to bear the brunt of bitter animosity. In both the cases, it is money and wealth that brought the monsters out of the offenders |
