When it comes to hosting stars, Telugu film industry stands as a perfect example, especially for the ‘wannabe’ Mumbai lasses. We watch young and beautiful girls make their debut in Bollywood, catching the gaze of the whole nation and then ‘Bam’ (‘bomb’, you may call)!
All those ‘one-film-wonders’ are then imported to Tollywood. They are made to look ‘girl-next-door’ types and native Telugu beauties in Langa Vonis, sarees and the characteristic ‘no-nonsense pink pretty doll’ make-up. The latest to take this ‘tinsel route’, is Shazahn Padamsee, who just acted opposite Ranbir Kapoor in his latest flick Rocket Singh.
All you Telugu folks who were bowled by this simple, yet elegant lady, will soon see her opposite Ram Charan. ‘Shazs’ was picked for Anjana Productions’ ‘yet-to-be-named’ film to charm Charan along with Genelia D’Souza. Shazahn should consider herself lucky since it is pretty big break in Tollywood. Hopefully, this will make her stay in Hyderabad memorable and turn around her fortunes, even in Bollywood |
