When the media questioned Wasim Akram’s take on the appointment of Eric Simmons as India’s bowling coach, the Pakistani legend was genuinely surprised. He was heard saying that he never actually heard of a Eric Simmons before. While Akram didn’t recognise the coach, he certainly did make up for it by saying that he would be happy for India if things work out in the bowling department.
